As noted above "Publish Your Comment", "Comment moderation has been enabled" for discussions pertaining to ADOT.What this means is that PRIOR TO APPEARING ON THE SITE, Annie will review comments to ensure that they meet reasonable standards of civility. Criticisms and comments must be constructive -- this is our public face to the world, and an example that ADOT will be watching closely to see whether the level of openness they have embraced is worthy of replication elsewhere throughout the state. PLEASE, try to refrain from screaming here, no matter how frustrated you are, or how galling an action seems to be. Instead, contact Annie personally and we on DCRC will try to provide information that may allay a concern, or establish a more private channel of communication to make your concerns/issues known to ADOT.

Expect Delays on SR 82 and SR 83

Drive with CAUTION on SR 82 and SR 83

Plan extra time to get to or from Nogales on SR 82 for the next four months. There will be traffic control and pilot cars for the construction of the Santa Cruz River Bridge and installation of guard rail and “repaving” of SR 82 from MP 13 just east of Lake Patagonia to MP 3.There will be “lane restrictions” which means there will be areas of single lane traffic and the lanes over the bridge will be reduced to 11 feet wide.

For the next few months on Thursday and Saturday ADOT Nogales Maintenance will be replacing the galvanized guard rail with corten guard rail in the recent SR 83 construction project north of Sonoita.
