Sonoita Crossroads Community Forum

Meeting of March 25, 2006

An open community meeting of the Sonoita Crossroads Community Forum was held at Pioneer Hall (Fairgrounds) from 9:30 to noon on 25 March, 2006.

The agenda included:

• Subdivision vs. Ranching: Effects on Biological Diversity in the Sonoita Valley given by Jane and Carl Bock


• A joint report by ADOT and DCRC re Scenic Highway and other Issues presented by Annie McGreevy and Reed Henry


• A report on prospective developments at the Crossroads by Bill Eifrig


• The presentation of a draft development policy by Steve Strom and a request for public comment upon that draft policy via the website.


• An update on Rosemont Mine developments by Steve Strom and Lainie Levick of Save the Scenic Santa Ritas.
